Bart said in July 27th, 2007 at 2:31 pm

It is, whatever you want it to be.

Bob said in July 27th, 2007 at 4:21 pm

to loopy,

this is just a guess but it looks like they had a camera placed in a fixed position, took one picture, then changed their appearance and took another picture and spliced them together on a middle seam. they were also using indoor lighting so it didn’t change like natural would. On the Blue screen of death, i know its possible to bend pictures in Gimp etc to make them have perspective and then past them over where the mirror was, and erased where the seam was. on the ghost man i bet they made a secondary layer, pasted a picture of him in the mirror like they would when they were putting the two together and erased where the woman was standing, but thats all guessing and i don’t know much about Pshopping either, but i hope it helps!

This is pretty good. Thanks for sharing these pics.

Dell Password said in July 28th, 2007 at 2:00 pm

no need really for a tutorial
just take 2 pics (2 different faces) with a camera that stays in the exact same position
than split the 2 pics and one left half is for in front of the mirror, the other right one is the mirror itself
understandable ? :)

on the post: really nice …

I am laughing at the noter who said it was basic. There’s always one. I like the thinking and creativity of this stuff. I like the ideas behind it. Well done. I don’t think you need to be advised to push it further - I think you’ve probably already done that lots since this project. :)
